Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of which he was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lois Skaggs Beckham; two daughters, Mrs. Roland Richey, Smith's Grove, and Mrs. Pete Moore, Scottsville; two sons, Herbert Beckham, Route 3, Smith's Grove, and Eldon Beckham, Oakland; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Lawrence, Mrs. Blanche Moore and Mrs. Sarah Dearing, all of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Grady Kimble, Route 1, Smith's Grove;l two brothers, Clifton Beckham, Route 3, Smith's Grove, and Leslie Beckham, Route 1, Smith's Grove; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
