We know that William Thomas Wallace, Sr.(born abt. 1825), and his wife Margaret Beasley, daughter of Daniel Beasley, lived for a time in the Cheraws District of SC (modern Chesterfield, Marlboro, and Darlington Counties) on the NC and SC border. This, supposedly, is where his two older sons, John Calvin, and James, were born (before William moved to AL and on to MS.) We know for a fact that William Thomas, Sr., and two of his brothers, Stafford and Noah, all settled in Scott Co., MS.
