Services for Roy M. Smith, 47, of Boise,Route 2, who died Sunday afternoon at home of an apparent heart attack, will be Wednesday at 2pm at McBratney-Alden chaple with Laverne Baldwen officiating. Interment follows at Knowlton Heights.
Born in Gannett, Idaho, April 21, 1917, Mr. Smith came to the Boise area in 1929.
He was married to Elsie Dolling of Caldwell at Meridian on May 29, 1939.
At the time of his death he was employed as custodian of Roosevelt School. Mr. Smith was a member of the Followers of Christ. Survivors include his wife Elsie; Three daughters, Mrs. Wanda Cunningham, Lorraine and Kay Smith; two sons, Lanny and Danny Smith, all of Boise; his mother, Mrs Ruth Smith of Caldwell; three brothers, Buford of Caldwell; Duane and Eldon, both of Boise; four sisters, Mrs Eleanor Conley of Oregon City, Oregon, Mrs. Alice Ange of McCall and Mrs Bertha Black and Mrs Shirley Ivers, both of Boise and two grandchildren.
