Services for Johnny William Miller, 79, Logan, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Logan. The Revs. David Crow and Mark Phelps will officiate.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Melrose Cemetery. Steed-Todd Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Miller was born Sept. 6, 1912, to Elsie and Oren William Miller, near Melrose. He died Thursday, July 30, 1992, at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque.
He married Ina Oleta Crowley on Dec. 23, 1935. The operated a custom combine harvesting business for 16 years until 1968. The retired to Ute Lake in Logan and built the North Dock Trailer Park. Johnny enjoyed many fishing trips with family and friends. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Melrose.
Survivors include his wife, Ina; one son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Betty Miller, Carlsbad; one daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Jim Dickenson, Portales; three sisters, Pauline Dickins, Tupelo, Miss.' Daisie Buchwald, Santa Fe; and Margaret Russell, Logan; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephers, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one great-grandson, Dylan Miller.
Casket bearers will be Ernest Crowley, James Crowley, R. G. Pierce, George Beeson, Joe Green and Joe Geibel.
Honorary bearers will be his grandsons and grandsons-in-law: Junior Dickenson, Kevin Miller, Mike Hual, Joe Snow III, Jack Van Dusen and Pat Pauley.
