Thelma Marjorie Bourne, 92, passed away October 12, 2013. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 16 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Thelma was born April 25, 1921 in Kansas City, MO to Earl and Bessie Hults. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Red Hat Society. She served as a registered nurse for eight years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alfred P. Bourne, Sr.; son, Alfred P. Bourne, Jr. and her other siblings. She leaves her children, William Carl (Cathie) Bourne, Donald (Terri) Bourne and Cynthia (Ken) Walby; sister, Ruth Barnes; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 14506 E. 39th Street South, Independence, MO 64055 or Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322nd Ave., 7th Fl., New York, NY 10001.
