William Edward (Ed) Adicks Sr. 88 of 561 Snapdragon Street, Cope SC died April 13,2013 a the Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday April 16,2013 at Canaan Baptist Church in the Canaan Community. Burial will be at Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jimmy Stephens, David Epting, Billy Epting, Brett Fogle, Michael Caraway, Boyce Lefvendahl. Honorary pallbearers: The Senior Adult Sunday School Class of Canaan Baptist Church. Mr. Adicks was born March 9, 1925 in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Grover C. Adicks and the late Cora Kittrell Adicks. He was a member of the Canaan Baptist Church. He sang in the choir and was a deacon of Canaan Baptist Church. He also served in the U.S. Army and was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife; Nancy Boyles Adicks of Cope; one son, William Edward "Eddie" (Laura) Adicks, Jr. of Orangeburg; two granddaughters, Sidney Margaret Adicks and Cameron Paige Adicks both of Orangeburg; one sister, Annie Lee Sanders of Cordova; two brothers, Carl Wilson Adicks and Grover Adicks, both of Canaan Community. Friends may call at the residence, 561 Snapdragon Street, Cope, SC and at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg. Visitation will be held April 15,2013 from 6:00-8:00 at Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in Orangeburg SC.
