BABE IS FOUND
DEAD IN BED
Margaret Lucy Case, two day old infant
of Mr. and Mrs. Charles K. Case,
the former of whom is master mechanic
at the Kenneth quarries, was found
dead at the side of the mother when
the parents awoke Sunday morning.
The child was apparently in good
health when they retired last night,
and they were grief stricken when
death was found to have claim the
child d u r i n g the night.
Coroner M. B. Stewart was called,
and after an examination found that
death had resulted from suffocation.
Mr. and Mrs. Case had set the a l a rm
clock for 5 a. m. When tho alarm
sounded they awoke and the baby was
alive at that time.
Apparently after 5 a. m., t h e child
in restlessly moving about had pulled
the bed clothing over its head and had
suffocated. This was the verdict of
the coroner,
The Funeral, w i l l be hold from the
residence at Kenneth at 1 p. m. tomorrow,
conducted by Rev. Edwards of
the Ninth street Christian church, Interment
in the Davis cemetery near
B u r n e t t s v i l l e .
