Pvt. U.S. Marine Corps, {MC2100477}, Vietnam War-Pvt. Emery was killed in action by small arms fire during Operatin Harvest Moon on 12-9-1965 while serving as a Rifleman with Co. L of the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division.

Pvt. Emery is the son of BM 1st Class Clinton L. Emery of C/O Coast Guard Group, Juneau, Alaska, & Mrs. Helen A. Emery of 1904 Joy Avenue, Granite City, Illinois, and he enlisted with the Marines in St. Louis, Missouri on 11-12-1964.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal.
