Funeral services for Archie Lee Kingsley, 70, of Edina, were held at two o'clock Sunday afternoon (February 23, 1986) in Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel, Edina. The Rev. Luke Turnbough of Edina conducted the services. Musical selections were "He Touched Me" and "One Day At A Time." Burial was in the Linville Cemetery in Edina.
Mr. Kingsley died at 12:15 Thursday afternoon (February 20, 1986) in the Knox County Nursing Home at Edina where he had been a resident since June, 1985.
Born March 28, 1909, in Knox County, he was the son of Emmett A. and Effie Hainline Kingsley. He was never married.
Surviving are three brothers, Howard Kingsley and Cecil Kingsley, both of Edina and Orville Kingsley of Quincy, Ill,; one sister, Dorothy Kingsley of Edina; three nieces, two nephews and seven great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Ray Kingsley on September 6, 1975.
Mr. Kingsley was a life-long resident of Edina area. He was employed for nearly 30 years by the Burnham Manufacturing Company in Edina before his retirement in 1975.
He attended the Edina Methodist Church.
