CARTHAGE-Services for Harvey Morris Jr., 63, of Carthage, who died of heart failure Friday, January 30, 1998, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be at 2 p.m. today at Wilcox Funeral Home.
Mr. Morris resided in Greenwood for most of his life.
He was a retired foreman of Yazoo Valley Oil Mill.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Morris; three daughters, Diana Thornton of Carthage, Rhonda Rodgers of Cruger and Tina Wiggins of Sidon; three sons, Roger Cairns of Newark, Texas, Dewayne Morris and Timothy Morris, both of Carthage; three brothers, Ernest Morris of Vardaman, Jimmy Morris of Grenada and Johnny Morris of Greenwood; and two sisters, Lucille Rice and Shirley Melton, both of Greenwood and 17 grandchildren
The Rev. Jack Nazary will officiate. Burial will be in Carthage.
Pallbearers will be James Chandler, Bobby Joe Tipton, Jimmy Allen Morris, Johnny Ray Morris, Stevie Morris and Douglas Elmore.
Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Morris, Danny Robertson, Tony Robertson and Joe Robertson.
