AT-17 #42-223 in a mid-air collision
with another AT-17 trainer aircraft,
seven miles northwest of Moody Field,
Georgia.

2nd Lt. John W. (Jack) Prinz, Jr. also
perished aboard his airplane, and the
men killed aboard the other AT-17 were
2nd Lt. Gresham P. Redden and 2nd Lt.
John E. Harris.
