Lucille Elmore Adkins, 83, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, March 24, 1999 at T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow, KY. Daughter of the late Claude Elmore & Mary Elizabeth Price Elmore, she was born in Green Co., KY, on December 14, 1915. Survivors include her husband, Raymond Adkins; 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Margaret & David Dawson, Josie Adkins, and Lydia & Junior Simpson; 3 sons and 4 daughters-in-law, William & Jane Adkins, Robert & Sandra Adkins, Ricky & Linda Adkins, all of Greensburg, Barbara Adkins of Shoals, IN; 2 brothers, the Rev. Robert C. Elmore of Edmonton, and Charlie Elmore of Louisville; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by: 5 children, James, Jerry, Joseph, Raymond and Patrick Adkins.
