Charles W. Fleming, 72, of Lot 71, River Road Trailer Court, died at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday at his residence.

He was born in Mattoon, the son of Johnston and Mae Mills Fleming.

Mr. Fleming was a building contractor and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert.

Surviving are his wife, Orla L.; one son, Thomas Dean Fleming, of Pleasant Plains; one daughter, Mrs. Nancy Rees, of Dawson; and two grandsons.

Services were at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel.

Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
