Delores Jean Sapp, 78, of Wileyville, WV died Monday, October 14, 2013 in the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.

She was born August 28, 1935 at Hastings, WV, a daughter of the late Clarence Dean and Irene Six Dean.

Mrs. Sapp was a former employee of Westinghouse in Fairmont and the Hundred Senior Center.

She was a member of the Long Valley Church of Christ.

Surviving are one brother and his wife, Kenneth & Esperanza Dean of Dale, Texas; four nieces and nephews and their spouses, Gina and David Gray of New Martinsville; Teresa and Mark Williams of Wileyville; Chris Dean and Cynthia Dean both of Dale, Texas; and three great-nieces and nephews, Tiffany Williams, David Gray, and Miranda Gray.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edgar Sapp, who died September 12, 1987; and one sister, Karen Carpenter.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 7-9 PM Thursday. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at the Long Valley Cemetery with Jerry Yoho officiating. Interment will follow in the Long Valley Cemetery.
