Mrs. Louise Allen, 89, died at her home on Brevard Road late Sunday evening after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Shaws Creek Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Lawrence Erwin, assisted by Rev. S. F. Huntley officiating. Burial will be in the Shaws Creek Baptist Church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jones McCrary, Carl Anders, Tom Cox, Bill Dalton, Tom McCullough and Herman McCullough, all nephews of the deceased.
Surviving are the following children, Mrs. R. C. Cotner of Spartanburg, Mrs. Nora Shirley of Inman, S. D. of Gary, Ind,. D. A. Allen and H. A. Allen of Washington state, Herbert Allen and D. C. Allen of Hendersonville, one sister, Mrs. Rachel McCullough and 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren also survive.
