John W. Concannon, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Concannon, died on Monday, September 4, 1944, in his 44th year. He had been in poor health for two years, and for a week had been a patient in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, where he died.
Besides his wife, Thelma, he leaves three daughters, Mrs. Lester Taber, Los Angeles, Calif.; Shirley and Sheila Concannon of Victor; three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Egan, Fairport, Mrs. Margaret Sullivan, Victor, and Mrs. Lester O'Kain of Wellsville; three brothers, Bernard of Rome, Robert of Rochester, and Edward Concannon of Albany.
Funeral services were conducted at the Sale & Cotton Funeral Home and at St. Patrick's Church, Wednesday morning, and burial was made in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
