Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Helen Marie Aaseth was born Sept. 5, 1913, in Gayville, S.D., to Elmer A. and Martha (Olson) Aaseth.
She married William Schroder on June 18, 1933.
Mrs. Schroder was a homemaker while raising her family. Later in life, she worked as a health aide and caregiver. Her favorite pastimes were playing cards and bingo, watching basketball and visiting. She was a devoted grandmother and will be forever remembered for her keen wit and sense of humor.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Blair.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William, in 1966; a son, Richard; sisters, Adelaide Casbarian, Florence Linden; and brother Ralph Aaseth.
