William "Willie" Napier of Cherokee Village, Arkansas and formerly of Dupo, Illinois died at age 83 on Saturday, February 20, 1999, at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

He was born in Du Quoin, Illinois on September 17, 1915.

He is survived by two sons, Ronald W. Napier of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Mike Napier of Belleville, Illinois; one daughter-in-law, Patsy J. Napier of New York; one sister, Peggy B. Green of Du Quoin, Illinois; a special friend, Fran Holbert of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma J. Napier; one daughter, Linda J. Gippierch; and one son, Gary G. Napier.

Mr. Napier was retired from the Monsanto W. G. Krumrich Plant in Sauget, Illinois.
