Martha Anne Bunting married George W. Kyle in Dewitt County Illinois on 22 August 1882. George and Martha settled in Shelbyville Illinois and became close friends with George & Lizzie [Bain] LeGrand, their 3 sons and daughter Adela. After illness and deaths of George & Lizzie LeGrand, Martha and George Kyle adopted Adela LeGrand, calling her Daisy. Daisy A. Kyle passed in 1899.
Martha & George lived for a time in Wayne Co Illinois with daughter Defern, born 1895; married August 1916 Calvin Wakefield.

Martha contracted pneumonia and husband George moved them west to the warmer climate of Arizona. Sadly, 9 months after their move to Phoenix, Martha succumbed to pulmonary tuberculosis.
Burial located in LeGrand/Kyle family plot.
