Edward N. ALOUF, 82, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, March 26, 1996. He was the son of the late Frank and Mary Alouf. He is survived by his wife, Zona Turner Alouf; two brothers, George Alouf, Richardson, Texas, and William Alouf, Roanoke; one sister, Cecelia Ways, New Friendship, Md.; two stepsons, Glen Powers, Roanoke, and Stephen Mabry, Bedford County; and five st epgrandchildren. Ed, a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, was co-owner of Roanoke Cigar Co., and was retired from Grand Piano Co. Visitation will be held at Oakey's Downtown from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, followed by a vigil service at 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be conducted at St. Andrew's Catholic Church on Thursday, March 28, at noon, with the Rev. Steven R. Rule presiding. Burial will be at St. Andrew's Cemetery.
