James David Donahoe, 53 years, 8 months, 14 days of age, departed this life on July 6, 2013 at his home in Selmer, Tennessee. No services were held per family request.

David was born October 22, 1959 in Memphis, Tennessee, a son of Billy Joe and Mary Zilphia (Moore) Donahoe.

He was a Service Tech for Derryberry Heating and Air. David was kind to everyone he made contact with. He never met a stranger. He was a hard worker and enjoyed helping people.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his first wife of 14 years, Abigail (Arrington) Donahoe, whom he married on January 5, 1980 and who departed this life on July 3, 1994; sisters, Mary Faye (Donahoe) Ventrini and Billie Kaye (Donahoe) Baker; and stillborn brother, Joe Orland Donahue.

He was survived by his wife of almost 5 years, Suzy (Webb) Donahoe, whom he married on July 25, 2008; children: Jimi Tapp of Selmer, Leah Donahoe of Memphis, Brian Donahoe (and wife Christy) of Memphis, Wesley Donahoe (and wife Emily) of Moscow, Idaho, Willie Tapp of Clarksville, Tennesse; grandchildren: Gibson, Samantha, Shelby and Eric; brother, Keith "Duffy" Donahoe (and wife Tracy) of Selmer; and in-laws, Jim and Hilda Webb of Bruce, Mississippi.
