Daniel Mulholland, 80, of 309 North Seventh street, Manitowoc, died Monday night at Holy Family hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Mulholland was born in 1870 in Belfast, Ireland, and came to Kaukauna, Wis., when a young man. In 1907 he married the former Miss Anna Rank and the couple moved to North Dakota. Mr. Mulholland came to Manitowoc in 1920 and has made his home in the city since that time. Following the death of his wife in March, he had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. William Reuys. He was employed by the Rockwood Lime company prior to his retirement 10 years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Pfeffer funeral home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic church, Manitowoc, Rev. Alfred Pritzl officiating. A burial will be in Calvary cemetery, Manitowoc.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Frank Delsmann of route 3, Manitowoc, Mrs. Edward Allswede of route 5, Manitowoc, and Mrs. William Reuys and Mrs. Matt Levendosky, both of Manitowoc; son, James, of Appleton; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer funeral home, Manitowoc, after 2 p.m. Wednesday. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday..
