Harry W. Bass, 90, of Yountville died Friday at St. Helena Hospital.
Mr. Bass was a native of Mandan, N.D. He lived in Yountville one year, and previously in Modesto 17 years. He was a minister for the Seventh-day Adventist Church for 41 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Bass of Yountville; a child, Lois Bramham of Selma; a brother, Louis Bass of Newport, Wash.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parkwood Seventh-day Adventist Church, Modesto. Private burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson. Lakewood Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Remembrances may be made to Parkwood Seventh-day Adventist Church, 301 Claratina Ave., Modesto 95350.

He was the first principal of Philadelphia Academy and later served as educational secretary in the New York, Potomac, Ohio, and West Virginia conferences. He also served as a chaplain in Okinawa. He is survived by his wife, Mildred; one daughter, Lois Bramham; two granddaughters; and two great-granddaughters.
