Services for Grace L. Blodgett, 90, formerly of 1002 N. Main St., Goshen, who died Friday in Carriage Manor, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen. The Rev. Cannon B. Linford Eyrick, pastor of St. James Episcopal Church, will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Goshen.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
She was born July 15, 1903, in Goshen, to Frank and Minnie (Pixley) Reafsnyder. In January 1920 she married Harry Landaw. He died in January 1964. On Jan. 10, 1970, she married Charles Blodgett. He died Feb. 1, 1991. She worked at Western Rubber and was a midwife. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, American Legion Auxiliary and Goshen Women of the Moose.
Surviving are a daughter, Frances Hawes, Goshen; three stepsons, Donald Blodgett and Devon Blodgett, both of Goshen, and Douglas Blodgett, Millsville, Ill.; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Viola Plummer, Mishawaka, and Eloise Troombly, Evanston, Ill.; and a brother, Victor Reafsnyder, Winona Lake.
A daughter, Catherine Landaw, a brother, Bernard Reafsnyder, and a granddaughter preceded her in death.
Memorials may be directed to Carriage Manor or to Home Health Care Services of Elkhart County.
