Survivors include one son, Edward A., one daughter, Lois Ann Rathbone, one brother, Bernard B. Ambrose, six grandsons; and several great-grandchildren.

Mrs. White graduated from the two-year Hudson High School and was accepted at Illinois State Normal University. After receiving her certificate, she taught briefly.
Before her marriage, she was a bookkeeper at the Normal State Bank, Normal. Mrs. White for 20 years was purchasing agent-bookkeeper for the Jefferson Hotel, Peoria, retiring in 1961. She served as secretary-treasurer of the hotel employees' credit union for many years.
