Ella A. Murphy, 80, died Thursday, October 6, 2005 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Born in Canton, N.Y., she had been a resident of the Capital Region for many years. Ella retired from the NYS Department of Education as a cleaning person. She was a member of the Rebeccah Chapter #94, Pocahanas Chapter #259 and the 3rd Reformed Church in Albany. Predeceased by her parents, Alfred J. and Mayfred (Kio) Murphy; siblings, Roselie Ritchie, Barbara Supensky, Muriel Moncrief, Pfc. Charles Murphy. She is survived by her sisters, Hazel and her husband Reginald Roy of Raymondville, N.Y., JoAnn Murphy of Auburn; also survived by many nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
