Mrs. Lula Belle Huff, 78, of Rural Route 1, Bucklin, died Oct 28, at St. Francis Hospital. Mrs. Huff was born Feb. 9, 1892 at Wilton Junction, Iowa, to Joseph William and Emma Anetta Herr Lyford. She mrried Martin Thomas Huff on May 4, 1913 at Rothville, and to this union were born three sons, Rex, Orland, Calif.; Charles F. and Thomas M., Brookfield, three daughters, Mrs. Delight Kitchen nd Miss Marcia Huff, Bucklin, and Mrs. Lennie Niemeier, Marceline.
Mrs. Huff is also survived by one brother, Harold Lyford, Marceline, and one sister, Mrs. Bess Ross, Marceline, eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Mrs. Huff had been an area resident many years and was a member of the park Baptist Church in Brookfield.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Oct. 30, at the Larson-Scudiero Funeral Home, Bucklin, with the Rev. Robert W. Payne officiating.
Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Brookfield.
