Robert H. Arthurs, 77, died at his home Pettis, East Fairfield township, Tuesday night after long illness, two years in in bed. Mr. Arthurs was born at East Troy, March 20, 1856, son of James and Elizabeth Arthurs. He grew to manhood there. He is survived by his widows, two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Shearer of Hartstown and Miss Rachel Arthurs at home, a son, W.D. Arthurs at home, three grandchildren and a brother, F.L. Arthurs of Erie. Funeral services will be conducted from the Hydetown M.E. church, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment in the East Troy cemetery.
