Albert J. "Pepper" Daniele, 78, a resident of Westford for more than four decades who was a Korean War veteran, died Sunday, Oct. 29, in Lowell.
He was the husband of Carol (McGeoch) Daniele, to whom he was married for 49 years.
He was born in Newton, son of the late Guiseppe Daniele and Maria (Cirignano) Daniele of Italy. He was educated in the Newton schools.
He made his home in Westford for the past 43 years.
Mr. Daniele served in the Korean War, attaining the rank of an Army sergeant. He was honorably discharged in 1957.
Before retiring, Mr. Daniele was a quality control manager for Cambex.
He was a loving grandfather.
He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, who enjoyed seeing the Red Sox win the World Series.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Lori Daniele of Westford; a daughter, Karen Daniele and her partner, Connie, of Boston; two sisters, Helen Gustowski of South Dennis, and Michelina Daniele of Newton; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Andrew, Kevin and Olivia.
He was also the brother of the late Michael Daniele, Yolanda DelGizzi and Ida Daniele, all of Newton.
