Alice M. Lewis age 96 of Owosso, MI passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the Hospice House of Shiawassee County. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes in Corunna. Pastor Mike McDonald will be officiating and burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Owosso. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4-8 PM also at the funeral home.
Alice was born April 13, 1917 in Detroit, MI a daughter of William and Beulah Delcamp. On November 14, 1936 she was married to Harold R. Lewis. He preceded her in death in 1980. She enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Prior to her retirement she had been employed by A&P Grocery Store for many years.
Alice is survived by her children, Marilyn Kay (Phillip) Bendall, Thomas D. Lewis and Sandra E. Grinnell; grandchildren, Angela Chase, Susan (Jeff) Arvoy, Phillip (Rachelle) Bendall Jr., Dana Grinnell and special friend, Pamela Eckeburger, and Darcy (Fred) Willson; great grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Travis, Brice, Brent, Hunter and Blaine; great great grandchildren, Camus, Aries, Domonic and Landon; and sister-in-law, Princess "Pat" Delcamp. She was preceded in death by her husband; children, Harold Lewis Jr.; son-in-law, James Grinnell and several nieces and nephews.
