Beulah J. Budde
Beulah Jane Budde, who lived in Clark County the past 75 years, died Saturday, June 14, 2003, in Vancouver. She was 87.
Mrs. Budde worked in the bag department at the old Crown Zellerbach paper mill in Camas for 10 years. She also was a waitress at several Portland restaurants.
Her husband, L. John, died in 1982; a son, David Decker, died in 1979; and a daughter, Juanita Decker, died in 1996.
Mrs. Budde was born July 28, 1915, in Ladysmith, Wis., and lived in Clark County for 75 years. Her maiden name was Patterson.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Branstetter of La Center; two sisters, Helen Thode of Vancouver and Alice Busch of El Centro, Calif.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Budde was a member of First United Methodist Church. She loved flower gardening and traveling. She spent winters in Palm Springs.
A funeral will begin at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, followed by burial in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The casket will be open from 5 to 9 tonight and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
