Mrs. Barker was a member of the First Methodist Church in Asheboro.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Malcom J. Watson and Mrs. John T. Moffitt, both of Asheboro; two sisters, Mrs. John P. Meador, of Asheboro; and Mrs. C. R. Smith, of Cambria, Virginia; one brother, Clarence Rush of Asheboro; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Saturday in the home on Academy Street. The Rev. W. Harold Groce, First Methodist pastor, and the Rev. James H. Wade, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in the old Asheboro City Cemetery.
