ASHEBORO - March 29 -- Leo R. Barker, 75, died in Griffin Clinic, Monday night.
He was a native of Wake County, but had resided in Asheboro for 50 years.
Survivors are a son, Jack Asbury Barker, Miami, Florida; a daughter, Mrs. Polly B. Hall, Roanoke, Virginia; six grandchildren; two brothers, H. J. Barker, of Shallote; and A. M. Barker, of Randleman; and one sister, Miss Ellen Barker of Randleman.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 PM at Pugh Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the old Asheboro City Cemetery.
Dr. E. W. Price, pastor of Asheboro First Baptist Church, will officiate.
