Word was received from San Diego, Calif., las Saturday that M. C. Fuller, pioneer rancher and hardware dealer of this community, had passed away suddenly at the coast city, where he resided the past eight years.
Mr. Fuller was a long time partner of the late Tom Doughty in the Council Hardware and Implement company, but left Council to engage in work in Nevada and California shortly after the death of his partner in 1932.
The deceased is survived by nine children, namely; Mrs. Mabel Fields, of Wyoming; Mrs. Florence Higgs, of Chula Vista, Calif.; and Chester, Harry, Erwin, Fred, Floyd and Vera. Mrs. Fuller and another son, Alva, passed away at Council during the flu epidemic of 1918.
Mr. Fuller had been a member of the I. O. O. F. lodge of Council since February, 1919, and his funeral, and his funeral, which will be held in Council on Sunday, December 17th, at 2 p.m., will be under the direction of the local lodge.
