Barbara K. Eaton entered this wonderful life on June 7, 1927 to Ernest "Bob" Kindred and Beartrice Carter Kindred in Gonzales County. She accepted Christ at an early age and eventually became a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Family in Waelder, Texas. She attended and fulfilled educational requirements in the Gonzales County School System and later eraned a General Equivalent Diploma.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Logan Sr. and Sammie "Tootie" kindred; two husbands Edward Eaton, Jr. and Samuel Joe Massey. She worked for the Waelder School District on two separate occasions and was a lontime employee of Grumpy's Restaraunt in Flatonia, Texas. Her favorite pastimes were cooking and supervising the installation of outdoor lighting decorations during the holidays.
