DONALDS, SC - Billy Ray Adams, 70, of 7418 Highway 178 N, died November 8, 2004 at his home. He was born in Abbeville Count, a son of the late Louie Preston and Sara Elizabeth Moore Adams and was retired from Daniel Construction Company.
He was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Ware Shoals Masonic Lodge #306 and was a Shriner.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna Raye Phillips, Donalds; two brothers, Louie Calvin Adams, Hodges and Phillip Lee Adams, Georgia; one sister, Clara Ruth Hughes, Georgia; three grandchildren, Justin Wayne Phillips, Ashlee Raye Phillips and Keila Raye Hughes, Donalds; and two great grandchildren, Elzie "Ellee" Grace Phillips and Mary Katherine Hughes, Donalds, SC.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 AM at Chiquola Baptist Church with the Rev. Ty Childers officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home of Raye Phillips, 6742 Hwy 252, and will receive friends Wednesday, 6-8 PM at Parker - White Funeral Home.
