OBITUARY:

Annie Mai Starnes was born January 31, 1916 to the late Elvin and Bessie Andrews Starnes in Williamson County.

She was educated in the Williamson County schools and was a graduate of Pearl High and Tennessee !&I State College. She was a teacher in the Williamson County schools for 17 years. She was united in Christ at Locust Ridge P.B. Church under the Elder Allen Winston. She was an active and attentive member until her health failed her.

She was married to Oscar Denson, who preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one brother, Jesse Starnes; sister-in-law, Mattie Starnes; nephews, Jesse Elvis Starnes and James C. Starnes; great nephews, Antonio Starnes and James R. Starnes; great nieces, Ashley Starnes and Barbara Starnes; thee aunts, Mrs. Blanche Waddy, Mrs. Emma Hatcher and Mrs. Ida Russell; one uncle, Robert L. Andrews; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends; devoted friends, Maudell P. Dotson, Beverly Snell, Beverly Rader and Clara B. Parrish.

Funeral Services held Saturday, March 28, 1987 at 2:00pm at Locust Ridge Primitive Baptist Church, College Grove-Arno Rd, College Grove, TN.
