Watson Reed Jr. was the son of Watson Reed and Penelope Rebecca Black who are buried in Eastland County, Texas He was married to Isabell Sandell. They were both living in Madison County, Texas and I assume they married there as well. Watson had a son named Watson Emmet Reed and a daughter Myrtle Reed. Watson E. Reed married Nora Bell Young and migrated to Tuttle Grady County, Oklahoma where he is buried. Myrtle married Claude D. Mosley and was living in Lubbock County, Texas when Watson E. Reed died on October 7, 1937. Claude and Myrtle are buried in the Keene Cemetery in Johnson County, Texas.

Watson Reed is listed on the Assessment Of Property in the County of Robertson along with his brother J.A. Reed and his father Watson Reed as follows:
Reed, W Jr- Horses, Cattle, Sheep & Misc. Property 655; Value 655; Poll Tax-$1;State Tax-$1.30;County Tax-$.90

It appears that sometime in 1866 Watson Reed Sr. and sons left Robertson County, Texas and migrated east to Madison County, Texas Watson Reed Sr. and Jr. are listed on the 1870 US Census

Watson Reed Jr. had an older brother named J.A.(Jonathon Augustus) Reed. They both put in a Cotton Crop after the Civil War in Walker County, Texas in April 1866.
