The Rev. L. Harold Hinrichs, rector of the St. Andrews's Episcopal Church, officiated at services from the church, and interment was in Sudlersville Cemetery.
Mrs. Gadd was with her son and his wife, and sister, Miss Daphne Damon when stricken. They were on the return leg of the world trip.
Born on June 24, 1889, in Honolulu, Hawaii, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Damon. She lived in this county 12 years, and married the late Luther Lay Gadd on Feb. 2, 1924, in Honolulu. Mr. Gadd died in December 1942, in Centreville.
Besides her son, Luther Damon Gadd, of Waitsfield, Vermont, she is survived by a brother, Cyril, and two sisters, Daphne and Mrs. Violet Putman, all of Honolulu.
