CARTHAGE MAN DIES IN CRASH
A Carthage man died and his fiancee was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 1:45 p.m. Saturday on Route V, a half-mile north of Carthage in Jasper County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Adam L. Vandergriff, 38, the driver, was pronounced dead at 2 p.m. Saturday at the scene by Jasper County Coroner Jerry Neil, the patrol said. The body was taken to Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage.
His fiancee and passenger, Danna I. Borgmeyer, 32, Carthage, was taken to St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin.
