Life's Work/Service/Interests: Kenneth graduated from Lincoln High School and BYU. He also completed a master's degree at the University of Michigan. He married Jewel Frampton on September 27, 1950. They celebrated their 50th anniversary before Jewel passed away 4 months later. He enjoyed a successful 30 year career with the Soil Conservation Service retiring as a Deputy Chief of the agency. As a young man, he was a renowned fast pitch softball pitcher in Vineyard. He was an avid golfer, gardener, woodworker and family historian. Many were blessed with the delivery of his dahlias. Most of all he was a beloved grandfather. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served as Bishop in Portland, Oregon and a temple worker at the Mount Timpanogos Utah LDS Temple. Kenneth L Williams, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend and beloved husband, passed away the morning of Friday, October 25, 2013. He was 85.
Survived By: His children: Joan Goulding of Orem, Steven Williams (Katie) of Orem, and Janet Barringer (John) of Charlotte, NC; his brother, LeRoy Williams of Orem; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
