Funeral services for Clara Mae Bordelon, 72 of Monterey, LA will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes, Catholic Church, in Vidalia La. on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 10:30 AM with Father George Pookkattu officiating. Interment will follow at Acme Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Clara Bordelon was born on October 29, 1940 in Golden Meadow, La and passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at Natchez Regional Medical Center. She was a resident of Monterey, a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Vidalia La. She was preceded in death by: father-Mervin Joseph Ledet, mother-Gert Ledet, and grandson-David Bordelon, Jr. Survivors include: Her husband of 52 years, Caffery Bordelon of Monterey La., son-James Bordelon and his wife Connie of Galliano La., son-David Bordelon of Galliano La., son-Don Bordelon and his wife Nanette of Cut Off La., daughter-Ginger Coco and her husband James of Monterey, La., brother-Ronald Ledet and his wife Loretta of Galliano, La., brother-Mervin Ledet and his wife Shirley of Larose, La. Pallbearers will be Derek Bordelon, Jordan Bordelon, James Coco, James Bordelon, David Bordelon and Don Bordelon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dayne Bordelon and Cade Plaisance. A Christian Rosary Service will be held at 9 AM on Monday, December 3,2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidalia La. The family will receive friends at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidalia La. from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Monday, December 3, 2012.
