Mrs. Linda Way, 91, died December 6, 1970 at St. Joseph hospital (sic) in Concordia.

She was born in a dugout near Talmo February 20, 1879, daughter of Russell and Lydia Horner.

She attended rural schools and graduated from the Belleville high school. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist church (sic).

February 25, 1900 she married Noah Philo Way at Belleville.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1927, a daughter, Helen, a grandson, her parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors are: two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Flood of Frankfort and Mrs. Dallas Hockett (Thelma) of Concordia; 5 grandchildren, Bob Flood of Indianapolis, Ind., Don Flood of Topeka, Mrs. Rea Mansfield of Liberal, Mrs. Bernice Holsted of Derby, Norman Walton of Concordia; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held December 8, 10:00 a.m. at the Smith Funeral home with the Rev. H.H. Vogel officiating. Interment was in the Union cemetery (sic) south of Wayne.
