Aaron Crook, b. January 27, 1803, bap. February 6, 1803, Urchfont, England, d. September 10, 1880 from dropsy, Berlin Township, Monroe County, Michigan, buried in Riverside Cemetery, s. She was the daughter of Ephraim Pierce and Sarah Bartley.
Aaron m. 2nd Sylvia Bruce on January 1, 1864 in Ash Township … Aaron and Dianah immigrated from Lincolnshire, England, on June 10, 1837, arriving in New York City. Their children were born in England, New York, and Michigan. They reached Monroe County, Michigan in 1846/47. Aaron wrote a will that was probated in September of 1880. In this will his heirs and their locations are named along with the children of his daughter Mary Crook Coville. On January 31, 1880, there was a land deed transaction between Christopher Crook and his brother Edwin M. Crook. This land transaction involved all the living children of Aaron Crook, and the states they were living in. Between Aaron's Will and the land deed we get an accurate picture of the family. Aaron was a farmer. Aaron and Dinah had twelve children.
