Mr Babylon was a carpenter and contractor and was prominent in construction work activities in the city. He has erected a number of structures in the twenty-four years he has lived in the city.

In falling he struck his head and shoulders simultaneously against the floor and at the same time on of the large beams fell striking him on the head as he lay unconscious on the floor.
The victim was born June 13, 1863. He had been employed by Mr McKinley for some time and was a next door neighbor to his employer, who was greatly shocked to hear of the accident.
