Paul C. Neiderer, 90, 2810 Centennial Road, Hanover, died Thursday morning at 3:45 om the Hanover General Hospital where he was a patient for 12 weeks.
He was born in Littlestown, the son of the late Peter and Mary Wagaman Neiderer. He is survived by his wife, Blanche M. McKim Neiderer, to whom he was married for 75 years.
He was owner and operator of Neiderer's General store in Centennial for 64 years. He was a member of the Scared Heart Basilica in Edge Grove, the McSherrystown Knights of Columbus, and the Centennial Fire Company.
He is also survived by five sons: Robert J. and Richard J. Neiderer both of McSherrystown, Francis J. Neiderer of Bonneauville, and Rodney P. Neiderer and Donald J. Neiderer all of Hanover; one daughter, Mrs. William T. ( Mildred) Adams of Hanover: 22 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother and two sisters, Alphonious Neiderer of Hanover Mrs. Pauline Shildt of Littlestown and Mrs. Helen Polock of Vero Beach, Fla.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, with meeting at the Hick's Funeral Home in McSherrystown at 9:30 a.m. to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Basilica with the Msgr. George W. Rost officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
