SUNRAY — Christopher Daniel Everett, 19, of Sunray died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Sunray High School Gymnasium with the Rev Shawn McCorkle officiating. Burial will follow in Stratford Cemetery. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors of Sunray.
Christopher was born Jan. 21, 1994, in Amarillo to Douglas and Denise Balsiger Everett. He was raised and educated in Sunray, where he graduated in 2012. Christopher was a sophomore at Amarillo College studying criminal justice. He loved anything with law enforcement and was a member of Moore County Law Enforcement Explorers. Christopher enjoyed photography, hunting, video games, his Tahoe and parkour. He especially loved his dog Isaac. Christopher will be missed by his family and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Jean Everett.
Survivors include his parents, Doug and Denise Everett; his paternal grandfather, Joe Everett of Stratford; his maternal grandmother, Sandra Balsiger of Kennedale; his maternal grandfather, Dennis Balsiger and wife Honey of Arlington; a great-aunt, Mellissa Whitney and husband Thomas of California; three uncles, Mike Everett and wife Reyna of Cactus, Chet Everett and wife Paula of Stratford and Brad Everett and wife Martha Jane of Amarillo; and numerous great-aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family suggest memorials be to Moore County Law Enforcement Explorers, 700 S. Bliss Ave., Dumas, TX 79029.
The family will be at 706 E. Fifth St., in Sunray.
