Walter Hunt, 79, Dead At Portland

Walter L. Hunt, 79, retired Southwick farmer, died of a heart disease Sunday at Portland, just five days after the death of his wife, who also died from a heart ailment. Hunt had lived in Portland and Clackamas, Ore., since retirement from farming in 1945.

He was born Sept. 19, 1878, In Missouri, living there until 1906 when he moved to Colorado. in 1919 he moved to Southwick.

He married Dayma Ramson in Missouri about 1900. They were divorced in 1942. In 1948 he married Mrs. Emma Hemmler at Park Rose, Ore.

Survivors include six sons, Eldie of Clarkston, Wa., Denzil of Medford, Ore., Howard of Richland, Gilbert and Louis, both of Vancouver, Wash., and Herbert, whose address is unknown: six daughters, Mrs. Wayne Bartlett of Clarkston., Mrs. Fred Zimmerman and Mrs. James Farrington of Kendrick, Mrs. Jacob Peterson of Lewiston, Mrs. Ray Butler of Port Angeles, Wash., and Mrs. Ronald Smith of Wallowa, Ore., one brother, Samual Hunt of Missouri; 31 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
