Verna Bagwell Mote, 94, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away October 8, 2013 in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Mote was born August 26, 1919 in Horatio, Arkansas.
She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church - Moores Lane where she was a third grade Sunday School Teacher for over 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noble Mote; and her son, David Mote.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Bill Roberts; two grandsons; two granddaughters; three great grandchildren.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
