Mrs. Helen Juanita Pierce, age 89, of Kingston, Tennessee, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at the Roane Medical Center, Harriman, Tennessee. Mrs. Pierce was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Kingston. She was born February 13, 1924 in Harriman, TN to John W., Sr. and Elizabeth Moore Tate. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 69 years, Wallace Pierce; brothers, Gene Tate and Kenneth Tate.
Survivors include Son Wayne Pierce (Donna) of Kingston, TN Daughter Phyllis Smith (Charles) of Kingston, TN 6 Grand children 7 Great-Grandchildren Brother John Tate (Imogene) of Kingston, TN Sister Evelyn Curtis (Ray) of Harriman, TN
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Evans Mortuary, Rockwood, TN from 5:00-7:00 PM. Funeral service will follow in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary at 7:00 PM with Rev. Kenny Plemons officiating. Burial and Interment will be held at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Kingston, TN on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
